Our creative collection of salad blends are made up entirely of baby and specialty lettuces - no iceberg "fillers." Triple-washed, hand selected, HACCP certified, same-day harvested and shipped, they are virtually chef-ready and sure to consistently please even the most discriminating palates. Elegance Distributors salads are available year round in three pound units.

Storage & Handling Tips: Pre-washed salad greens are very delicate and perishable. They should have a 10-14 day shelf life when handled properly. Always keep the refrigerated (ideal temp 32 - 36 0F / 0 - 2 0C). After opening, store any leftovers in their tightly closed original bags or containers. Add a paper towel to absorb moisture. Discard any leaves that look discolored or wilted.

Creme de la creme baby head lettuces, selecting only the best seed varieties from all over the world that yield rich color, good texture, and desirable flavor properties is why Elegance Distributors is known for the finest baby head lettuces available. Hand harvested to order in the cool morning hours to ensure maximum freshness, the baby heads are then passed through a gentle yet thorough wash process. With a final inspection, they are hand packed for cooling and shipment. Baby head lettuces are an excellent alternative to pre-made salads, as the chef is able to create a custom blend from a wide selection of specialty varieties. Baby head lettuces are available in single variety or mixed packs, two pound or four pound units.
